The Men's Room: Are you a "Manly Man?"

There's a difference between being a "Manly Man" and being a "Macho Man".

The first, and most essential thing to being a "Manly Man" is this:

"A man who does not think for himself does not think at all."

I do not think there are really that many "Manly Men" around.

  I believe, also, most women really want a Manly Man.

Key Characteristics of Manly Men:

1. They think for themselves. 

2. They dress how they want to dress... not necessarily what's in trend or fashion.

3. They are rugged and strong, yet not necessarily "macho".  Manly men don't necessarily think about these things- they just "are".

4. Manly Men are PASSIONATE. Passionate towards their partner, their work, their families, their lives.

5. Manly men have honor. Their word is their word.

6. Manly men take care of things... they take care of you, their business, they just do.

7. Manly men FIX things. 

8. Manly men speak when they have something to say, not just to hear themselves talk.

9. A manly man is just at ease at the ballet or opera as he is at football or racing.

10. There's simply a quite strength about manly men. A security, a decency, a power, a magnetism.

11. Manly men do not fear women- they adore them, cherish them, value them and respect them.

Do you know any manly men? I know a handful.  They are rare and they are special. Hold onto him if you have one.
