Spring into spring!

Spring is officially here, and it’s time to ditch the dark winter clothes and embrace this season’s new trends. Pastels, floral prints and tribal styling are all in, so you’ll have plenty to choose from when creating your new look.

Have fun with your look this spring, and don’t be afraid of a bit of colour! Yellow is a hot shade for the new season and will instantly lift your mood, mirroring the daffodils that are springing up everywhere. All it takes is a chic little jacket or a brightly-coloured scarf to transform an outfit.

The tribal trend might sound a bit bold, but it doesn’t have to be – animal and tribal prints can be tasteful and very sophisticated when done properly. The trick is to avoid going overboard with the theme and to keep it minimal.

Tribal jewellery is really versatile and can add character to an outfit instantly – think big wooden bangles and animal print scarves for maximum impact. Team them with white linen trousers and a neutral vest top, and you’ll have the look nailed. If you want to be a bit more adventurous, try a print maxi dress. Super stylish this season, maxi dresses are flattering, summery and can be worn both during the day and at night.

Floral prints are also back in this spring. Indulge your inner girly side and go feminine with a pretty tea dress in a light material. If you’d rather tone it down, why not reference the trend with a big corsage worn in your hair, on your shirt or attached to your bag?

Another trend for this season is the nautical look. This is a classic style that reappears every year, and is a great way to reinvent your work wardrobe whilst keeping it smart and structured. A pencil skirt with some big brass button detailing, or a smart blue and white striped top, will look sharp and current – perfect for going from day to night.
