I'm totally loving the "Sacai Fall 2012 Collection"!
It's fabulous! She takes the most basic materials and elements and turns them into unique, creative masterpieces! It's so refreshing to see something different and unique! Love it!
Excerpt from review by Sarah Mower, Vogue:
"Her collection has taken flight. The signature things she does with skirts—the cascades of folds and frills, petticoat-edged lace, opaque over sheer, and sheer over opaque—definitively captures the indefinite way cool girls assemble and layer their own clothes. But it was her outerwear that really shone in this show, with military-style cutaway coats pieced into flounced peplums in back. And the best? What she did with the motorcycle jacket. Just when you thought nothing new could be done with this street classic, along comes Sacai’s versions, with huge Mongolian lamb ruffles bursting from the insides. Backstage, some proved to be snap-in accessories while others were sewn to the quilted liners, which could also be worn separately. Trust a woman to think of all the ways to make a wardrobe go further. "
