Wow- now this would take me probably about 3 years each to do! Incredible the detailing involved in these book covers!

These three book covers were embroidered by hand over the course of 2 months. Three books were a lot to pull off, but I am such a sucker for classic literature and book illustration... how could I say no? The covers will be sculptural-embossed and are full wraparound images with french flaps (click the small picture to enlarge). Black Beauty won a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators in 2012. Order on Amazon.
One of the best parts of these books is the inside of the covers, which show the reverse side of the embroidery!
